excellent
Food is amazing and the staff very friendly. Menu changes regularly (daily?) depending on the season. My friend had squash soup as an appetizer (they mistranslated it as pumpkin in the English menu) and it was the best either of us had ever tasted. Very typical French restaurant where you can go and not be afraid to have people stare at you if you're on a date with someone of the same gender.
My favorite restaurant in Paris-- bar none
Located in the gay Montorgueil area. I like this gay-owned and run restaurant more than La Tour d'Argent. It is classic French cooking done to perfection. A 3-course meal is usually about 31 euros, and it's worth every sous. The handsome staff is professional and gay. It's sheer delight to visit this place. My favorite dish is the magret de canard, but everything is excellent here.
