Join us at the Theater in the American Church on March 22nd for the Paris March For Our Lives PRE-RALLY. We are planning an evening of action two days before the march, and we are calling on you to come make a difference!
We are inviting gun control activists to come speak to us to start off the night, before we break for actions and activities that will be set up around the theater.
The first and most important: VOTER REGISTRATION. We know that voting from abroad is difficult, but we will have VoteFromAbroad specialists on site to get you registered (we are especially looking at you, students!). Our specialists are also able to train people to register voters, so if you'd like to get training, here is the chance to make contacts.
We will also have stations to:
---write to your legislator (both physical postcards, postage already paid for, and emailed copies)
---sign the March For Our Lives petition (https://marchforourlivespetition.com/) and the Paris Resolution on Gun Violence in the US (https://www.thepetitionsite.com/469/641/226/the-paris-resolution-on-gune-violence-in-the-us-december-14-2017/)
---make posters for the big event two days later!
We have also invited some local musicians to play for us as we connect, unite, register, and TAKE ACTION AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE.
The most important way to make our voices heard will be in the voting booth this November. Refuse to allow one more needless death. Not one more. #IWillVote
