Marais Rivoli rental apt - bad & awful

it does not matter how great a location is nor the rental office staff .. when we checked in after a long day of travel .. i expected to be able to sleep for a few hours. not the case here, major construction going on .. actually posted next door - all tenants in this building know of it but we were not told anything about .. what they are telling us is that it should stop after 5 PM. awful ...it is not just noise, the floor is vibrating.

A good experience

This lovely apartment was in an excellent location in the Marais area of Paris. Just around the corner from th Pompidou Centre, the location was convenient for the Louvre and a short walk from Notre Dame. The apartment benefits from a terrace overlooking a lively street. Suits families with teenagers or younger children, gay couples, older people who don't need complete silence. Nearby restaurants and cafes of variable quality- some very good. Well equipped kitchen means not having to eat out all the time. Safe area. Staff operating the accommodation service were very helpful and instructions for picking up keys out of hours is good.

A bit disorganized.

Rented a great 2-bedroom apartment from these folks. A lot went wrong at the start: key not ready when promised, new employee flying solo and clueless, beds discovered not made up! It was smooth sailing after 3 or 4 hours, but we didn't need them for anything after all that, anyway. If your rental is near their offices, they have a nice, little visitor center with internet stations for renters' use.
